For the first time since “Happy Days” I have something to look forward to on Tuesday nights, that’s right, it’s Upright Citizens Brigade at Lakeshore and for anyone who hasn’t caught one of the first two shows, they were awesome. The good news is that it will continue until further notice every Tuesday night at Chicago’s home for edgy comedy, Lakeshore Theater. Check out LakeshoreTheater.com for information.
Pat and I cut together shots from the the first show ”ASSCAT” with the current cast and most people wouldn’t know that it was a reunion of sorts as Horatio Sans was originally cast in Mindlights “The Ride” but bowed out before filming began to persue this little show in New York. I often wonder, what would have been.
Check out UCB at LakeshoreTheater.com and watch for more videos coming soon.
We filmed a series of videos featuring Tony Sam as the legendary Merlin, (ok, not that merlin) but the funny one. The video’s feature Merlin the Wizard in different situations, such as Medeival Times, Quiznos and White Castle. The clips were inspired by Tony Sam’s character as he appeared at Lakeshore Theater’s, Col. Ritter’s SHOW (Spectacular Hour Of Wonderment) The day was wet and rainy and caused us to mix things up a little bit which actualy turned out a little bit better. I don’t want to give it away so you’ll have to check out the web and see for yourslf. We’re extremely happy with how well they turned out so we’re going to do some more. Hopefully we’ll film them in a couple weeks and we can edit them so we can release them weekly.
We’re pleased to announce a new show is nearing production. The show is about two computer geeks in their late twenties who spend way too much time with each other.
Be sure to check back for more information as we hope to film before it gets too cold. Coming to a computer screen near you.
We’ve filmed several scenes for the upcoming show for LakeshoreTheater.com. The still untitled show stars Heather Meibach and a series of special guest performers and regular people. An aspiring stand-up and actress, Heather brings us behind the scenes of the Lakeshore and into her own life in the big city.
